Basics of Quantum Computation : Part 1
de.arxiv.org/abs/quant-ph/0407064 [HTML, PDF, Postscript, GZIP]
The aim of this textbook is to bridge in regard of quantum computation what proves to be a considerable threshold even to the usual science trained readership between the level of science popularization, and on the other hand, the presently available more encyclopedic textbooks. In this respect the present textbook is aimed to be a short, simple, rigorous and direct introduction, addressing itself only to quantum computation proper. more info

Bridge
www.lepp.cornell.edu/public/theory/BRIDGE [HTML/Javascript, PDF, C-Source, Fortran, TAR, GZIP]
BRIDGE (Branching Ratio Inquiry/Decay Generated Events) is designed to operate with arbitrary models defined within matrix element generators, so that one can simulate events with small finalstate multiplicities. BRI can automatically calculate widths of two and three body decays. DGE can decay unstable particles in any Les Houches formatted event file. DGE is useful for the generation of event files with long decay chains, replacing large matrix elements by small matrix elements followed by sequences of decays. BRIDGE is currently designed to work with the MadGraph/MadEvent programs for implementing and simulating new physics models. more info

Quantum Computation
de.arxiv.org/abs/quant-ph/9812037 [HTML, PDF, Postscript, TAR, GZIP]
This review is about to tell the story of theoretical quantum computation. It begins with background on theoretical computer science, Turing machines and Boolean circuits. In light of these models, quantum computers are defined, and the issue of universal quantum gates are discussed. Quantum algorithms are explained. Much attention is devoted to understanding what the origins of the quantum computational power are, and what the limits of this power are. The possible implications of quantum computation on fundamental physical questions, such as the transition from quantum to classical physics are discussed. more info
